Get your scale calibrated in-between Legal For Trade (LFT) Inspections
Measurement Canada mandated inspection times are not the only time your scale should be calibrated. Depending on usage, it should be calibrated at least once in-between inspections.
Determining Appropriate Service Levels
The frequency your scale should be calibrated depends on its use, and whether or not it is Legal For Trade (LFT). Needless to say, the more it is used, the more frequent it should be calibrated. Scales requiring a Measurement Canada Inspection greater then annually, we recommend at minimum calibrating once per year in-between inspections.
