Maintenance & Overhauls

Without a doubt maintaining any kind of equipment is something that needs to be done regularly. This is particularly important in the weighing industry. Scales that are regularly maintained and calibrated have a much longer life. Also, they are consistently more accurate than those that are not. If a scale is weighing high or low, it can have a significant effect on your bottom line. In order to keep our customers weighing as accurately as possible, Precision Scale offers preventative maintenance service programs. In addition to saving you money, these programs take the guesswork out of trying to decide when your next scale calibration is due. We offer several different types of maintenance packages. We offer custom packages to meet the specific needs of our customers.

Calibrations

Precision Scale also offers a broad range of calibration services. Whether we are calibrating equipment in our facilities or working on-site, having Precision Scale calibrate your equipment allows you to have complete confidence that it is working right.

Measurement Canada Certifications

There are now monetary penalties and court-imposed fines of up to $50,000 that businesses can face if they short-sell their customers. It is important to note is regardless the errors are intentional or not. These fines can be avoided by knowing when your scale is due for its first mandatory inspection, and what frequency is required for re-certification. The new mandatory inspection frequencies of inspection vary from industry to industry. Needless to say, it is important to know how frequent your scale must be inspected.

Precision Scale is a Measurement Canada Accredited company. As a result we help our customers ensure that their scale inspection and certification requirements are taken care of. When you have a service agreement with us, you have peace of mind that all regulatory requirements are looked after.
